Apathy • Apathy • Less than 45% vote in Local Elections • Less than 75% vote in General Elections • Little concern for other areas, e.g. environment, morality • We don’t deal with hurts/broken relationships • We hurt others • We moan, criticise, gossip • We harbour grudges and justify ourselves • We build walls of protection • Scars and open wounds • Am I bovered?
Forgiveness – our choice Only 2 people who can forgive us for the wrongs we have done • The person we have wronged • God
Forgiveness is a process The power to affect our: • Thinking (Memory) • Emotions (Feelings) • Will (Choices) • Actions (Behaviour)
Forgiveness means • Choosing not to hold an offence • To let go and send away • To be released and become a releaser
