Benefits Derived in FY 00/01 • Class Aliases provided improved method for faculty to communicate with their students • Initial Portal development will lay the groundwork for a “full fledged” university portal supporting all constituents and providing integration of campus applications and other Web resources • The campus-wide directory has great potential to not only support single-sign on but to support better integration of applications, improve data consistency by providing a single source for “person” data, and in general support a wide range of campus applications • Rehosting the data warehouse and linking it to the new PeopleSoft system will provide broader and easier access to HR and Finance data (initially) for individuals across campus • New Advancement system and Centennial Campaign Web site improved central Advancement’s as well as individual college’s ability to remain in contact with and track their alumni IACC-ITS.PPT June 1, 2001
