  2. Biographical Information Terry Pratchettwas born on April 28, 1948. His parents are David and Eileen Pratchett. His wife is Lyn and his daughter is Rhianna. When Terry was young he went to school at John Hampden Grammar School. Right now Terry lives in Waltshire, England. Terry Pratchett has sold over 55 million books and has received awards such as the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the British Book, the BBC, the Big Read, and the Carnegie Medal in Literature. Later in his life Terry found out that he had Alzhimers disease and now is trying to over come it.

  4. Wintersmith The book I’m reading is Wintersmith. The genre of this book is fiction. The setting of this book is quite often the woods, Ms. Ticks cottage, and Tiffany Aching’s bedroom. Some of the main characters are Tiffany Aching, Rob Anybody, the Feegles, Horace, the Wintersmith, and Granny Weatherwax. The plot of this story is that Tiffany Aching accidentaly dances with the Wintersmith. She does such a good job dancing that the Wintersmith falls in love with her. So the Wintersmith does many things to get Tiffany’s attetion. The feegles are trying to convince Tiffany to go on a date with the Wintersmith. Ms. Tick is Tiffany’s grandmother. She helps tiffany through many different conflicts. The ending of this story is quite interesting. Tiffany ends up getting married to the Wintersmithand everything turns out fine and goes back to normal. My critique for this book is I don’t like it at all. It was very confusing and hard to understand. I would not recommend it to the class.

  5. A Hat Full of Sky The book I’m reading is A Hat Full of Sky. The genre of this book is a fantasy. In this book the setting starts in Tiffany’s bedroom, then as the story goes on the setting is at Ms. Ticks cottage, then in the woods. The characters in this story are Tiffany Aching, Ms. Tick, Mistress Weather Wax, and the Feegls. The plot of the story is that Tiffany gets a witches hat that proves she is a real witch but only she can see it and the other witches do not believe her. The conclusion of the story is that Tiffany gets rid of the hat and makes her own. My critique of the story is that I think it is an O.K. book and I think that boys would like it more.
