  2. History • Lodz department of TVP SA has started its work on 22 July 1956, in a rented place, in the beginning as one of Lodz editorial of Polish radio station. Lodz department of TVP SA was the second broadcasting centre after Warsaw • Provisional antenna transferred signal only three times a week from 19-20.00- along Piotrkowska street for merely 300 viewers. • Lodz department has taken production of theatrical show before the individualstudio was opened. History • In the History of Lodz Television there were light programmes like: „3000 sekund z...”, „Śpiewki stare ale jare”, „ Muzyka lekka, łatwa i przyjemna”, „Dobry wieczór, tu Łódź”, directed by Janusz Rzeszewski and Jerzy Wożniak. • In next years, the production of this centre systematically grew and in 1994 attained 227 hours of national programmes, and for TV POLONIA -103 hours. Program council • Program council of TVP Łódź was appointed with KRRiT resolution on 29th September 2009. •  Members of Program council have a call duty- during this time they receive opinions and notices from viewers about the TVP Łódź; on Tuesdays and Thursdays after the main edition of ŁWD at about 18.45.
