CPF Generation and Distribution • HTSI currently generating predictions in the CPF for all 21 satellites for which performs orbit determination • CPF predictions distributed via email • MLRS receives all HTSI CPF satellite files • Zimmerwald receives HTSI BEC and Larets CPF files • Both stations have tracked successfully using the CPF predictions • CPF predictions are generated on new HTSI prediction platform.
NASA Network Implementation • HTSI will begin implementation on NASA systems after completion of TLRS-4 project • NASA systems will be a more complex software modification than SLR2000 due to current use of polynomials for generated pointing angles • SLR2000 implementation has begun • Implementation will be less complex than Moblas and TLRS systems due to current use of mesh point file for generating pointing angles
CPF Normal Point Generation • Generic Normal Point Processor (GNP 2.5.3) was modified to generate normal points using both an integrated CPF and an interpolated CPF • Three techniques (TIV, integrated CPF, interpolated CPF) were tested using 44 passes (53 pass segments) • “First look” at results indicate combination of integrated CPF and interpolated CPF appear to be adequate, but may have room for improvement • Differential correction of state vector eliminated in the CPF interpolation • State vector not tuned for the force model in the CPF integration
CPF Normal Point Generation • TIV vs Integrated CPF and Interpolated CPF, 44 passes (53 pass segments) tested
Future Analysis • Need a detailed look at prediction quality • Predictions software generating CPF data is on new platform. • Take closer look at passes with normal point differences • Improve interpolated CPF normal pointing • Compare normal points to global fit
