Quality Management Process - Stephanie Ploeger • QMP is our business plan management tool, includes the section’s operating requirements and has a recognition component • QMP includes Key dates and assignments related to section business – budgets, audits, membership, etc. • Recognition Levels are cumulative: • Basics – Level 1 – submit all minimum requirements by deadline, maintain minimum of 30 paid members, no complaints • Planning – Level 2 – Meet Basics 1 PLUS Required to submit an annual business plan and budget • Performance – Level 3 – Meets Basics 1 and Planning 2

41. Senior Membership – Stuart Walker • Leadership and professional achievement do not go unnoticed by ASQ. The Society offers Senior membership for individual members who represent the upper echelon of the quality profession and serve as the backbone of the Society. ASQ Senior membership rewards members with enhanced benefit selections.

Senior Membership You may apply for Senior membership status if you meet the following criteria: • Been an ASQ Full member in good standing for one year • Have 10 years of professional experience • Meet one of four professional criteria outlined on the Senior membership application (see next slide)

Senior Membership At least one of the four options below: • Have conducted quality-related engineering, inspection or audit, or statistical work, or applied the methods and principles of quality on the job for at least two years. • Have taught quality or related arts or sciences at an accredited institution for at least two years. • Have been a Senior member or comparable type in a recognized professional organization. • Currently hold an ASQ certification that requires recertification.

Six Sigma SIG – Pam McNulty Purpose of the Lean Six Sigma Special Interest Group (SIG):   The SIG shares six sigma and lean discussion topics led by facilitators using examples of current or past projects. The goal is to generate 2 way dialog and best practice sharing. The SIG meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday at Greg Poole Co. from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
