Organizations require a number of things to be effective:physical resources,financial resources,marketing capacity and human resources.
The production technology, financing, and customer connections(marketing)can all be copied.the basics of managing people also can be copied,but the most effective organizations find unique ways to attract,retain and motivate employees—a strategy that is harder to imitate.
While all these are important to organizational effectiveness,the factor that is most likely to provide potential competitive advantage is human resources and how these resources are managed.
HRM refers to the policies,practices and systems that influence employees’ behavior, attitudes and performance, compensation and employee relations. • 人力资源管理是指组织中能够影响员工的行为、态度、绩效、薪酬和员工关系的政策、规范和体制。
