  2. RRB GROUP D Indian Railways is one of the largest employment service providers in the country. Notification regarding RRB Group D Recruitment is released by Indian Railways in the month of February. Recruited candidates for job vacancies Gateman/Points man/Porter/Helper and few other posts in Railway Department all across the regions.

  4. RRB GROUP D Exam Pattern • The RRB Group D Recruitment notification is released on 10th February. The RRB Group D 2018 Exam Pattern is available now. For the reason that, exam pattern is most important to know that how many questions will be asked in the exam, total exam education, total number of marks, negative marking, weight age of each right answer, etc. • Therefore, candidates are advised to first read the exam pattern before starting preparation. • First Stage - Computer Based Test • Exam will be conducted in 15 different languages includes Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. • There will be negative Marking as for every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. • The Questions will be asked of the Subjects such as general knowledge/ awareness/ mathematics / reasoning etc. • Total Number of questions will be 100. • Time duration of exam is 90 minutes. • Second Stage – PET • After clearing CBT, candidates must pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). • In PET, there is criteria both for men and women: • Men:Able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes and run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in 1 chance. • Women: Able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes and run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in 1 chance.

Third Stage -  Document Verification • Candidates will be call for Document Verification after clearing CBT with PET Exam. • All the Documents are verified and get signature by Candidates. • How to Apply for RRB Group D • Visit the official website. • Click on the Recruitment option on the homepage. • Select the region for which you want to apply as Indian railways provide option for 21 regions of India. • An online application is displayed on your screen • Click on the “New registration link”. • Fill in all your details carefully and apply for the desired post. • Submit the application form (Stage I completed). • A registration number and password is displayed on the screen. • Login to the website again using the registration number and password. • Fill in the required details (Stage II completed). • In the next step, make the application fee payment through net banking/ debit card/ credit card/pay-in-slip payable any bank. • Affix your passport sized photograph and signature along with left-hand thumb impression, also copy the declaration. • Scan the filled template in the format given in the instructions. • Submit the application form but before that check it carefully and take out print for further use.
