  6. Date offoundation: 26 November 2011 Location: Croatia – Rijeka, Pula Members: 34 Regular meetings of the community: twice a month Volunteering: once or twice a week

  7. Three groups inourcommunity 1) those who work with children and youth

  8. 2) those who volunteer and help the poor

  9. 3) Those whoparticipate in different creative workshops (we produce rosaries, greeting cards, cookies etc.) using the products for self-financing

  10. Ourspecificactivities • 1) We animate different workshops and meetings for our juniors (elementary school kids)

  11. 2) We volunteer at the Home for the mentally ill adults

  12. We volunteer at the shelter for the homeless led by the Sisters of Charity in Rijeka

  13. We volunteer in the families with six or more children

  14. We organize projects in which we raise money for those in need and also collect food, clothes etc. for the poor

  15. We participate in different creative workshops (we sell the hand made articles)

  16. Missionary experience in Bulgaria

  17. Twice a year we all gather on a weekend spiritual retreat

  18. Through this yearin VMYwe have learned: when you work together, even the toughest job passes quickly and we have fun in it

  19. Working with the elderly, the young, and learning about homelessness has opened our eyes towards a new way of thinking about human life and people in need.

  20. VMY is a fruitful path that allows us to come to know God and to know the Virgin Mary.
