I want to attend a 4-year University, why should I start at GWC? If you can answer “NO” to any of the following questions, consider GWC as your 1st second choice! • Have you been accepted to your chosen University or college? • Have you decided on a Major? • Can you afford tuition?
Question #1 If you said “NO” to Question #1: Consider GWC as the first 2 years of your 4-year Bachelors Degree! A good GPA from a Community College is much better than any high school rank or ACT score when being considered at a University! GWC offers Transfer Guarantee programs to insure admission into your first choice school!
Question #2 If you said “NO” to Question #2 (deciding a Major): GWC offers many exploratory courses where you can discover your interests……..at a fraction of the cost! Counseling 103 and College 100 courses are geared to help students develop their interests and learn the tools to succeed as a college student! Our Counselors will create an Education Plan, based off of YOUR goals!

EARN A DEGREE • Associate in Arts (AA) Degree There are over 50 Majors or Areas of Emphasis to choose from. • Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certificate GWC offers 23 Certificates of Achievement and 8 Certificates of Specialization.
TRANSFER OPTIONS Certificate of Achievement for CSU for transfer to a California State University campus. Certificate of Achievement for IGETC for transfer to a four year University, but unsure whether to go to either CSU or UC.
