Integration tests Expected steps for the different HIFI configurations FPU LOU test name TCL version 1 dummy dummyUFT 1.x 2 RT not connSFT-warm 2.x 3 RT dummy+harnesUFT- before LOU conn 1.x 4 RT RTSFT-warm 2.x 5 OT RT SFT-cold 3.x 6 OT RT IST/commissioning 3.x 7 OT RT SPT 3.x 8 OT RT TV scripts tests 3.x 9 OT RT RMS 3.x 10 OT OTTV 4.x
IST Configuration • SVM (Service Module) • Panels closed; RT, 20-25º, MLI covered • LO at RT, 1 frequency per subband allowed • Cryostat • 2 or 4 K • ~25º tilt • Planned Dec 1 2007
IST steps (1) • Chopper scan Chopper endstop check • Chopper steps Closed-loop parameter check • Per mixer band: • FT-unpumpedmixer I,V curves deflux IF noise • Diplexer calibration 1 LO frequency / subband for 5 VD2 or with (wide) LO tuning? • Duration 2 hours • Analysis step (1 day) FPU thermal test prime (20 h?) • CUS update with: • IF 2 settings (FPU IF power) • Course LO tuning • Diplexer optimum settings for LO coupling
IST steps (2) • Per LO subband: • LO VD2 Vector scan Determine optimum LO VD2 • Diplexer scan with HC compare with diplexer setting for LO port Duration: 4 hours • Analysis step (1 day) FPU thermal test red (20 h?) • CUS update with: • Fine LO tuning • Diplexer optimum settings for Signal coupling
IST steps (3) Commissioning • Per band: • FT-unpumpedmixer I,V curves deflux IF noise • IF stability test without LO • LO tune • Short stability test warm-up LO • Performance test Hot-cold • Chopper scan HBB-CBB position calibration (ripple) Duration 13 hours
Summary • Allocated 10 hours, we take 20 (60 if thermal test included / 2 offline analysis days) • 3 days Short Performance Test were allocated, now removed • With LO warm, 1 freq/subband not representative anyway • 16 hours RMS (Reference Mission Scenario) = AOT’s • Scripts sufficiently up to date / debugged?
