Café’s in Hamrun • Elia’s Cafeteria is an old cafeteria found in front of St. Geatan’s Church and usually serves a lot of people after mass.
Papillon café’ is an other cafeteria which is rather new and quite modern. It also serves a lot of people but mostly youths just like us!
Hamrun Churches • St. Geatan Church found in high street Hamrun. This is the main church in Hamrun although there are others.
Although we mentioned only two churches there are others such as; • Tal-Kuncizzjoni • Tas-Samra & • Tad-Duluri
Hamrun Groups… • 1st Hamrun Scout Group & the 13th Hamrun Girl Guides meeting place. In the past it used to be a train station.
Hamrun Groups… These are photos of the past train station nowadays. The Scouts and Girl Guides use this place to have meetings and events. This is an N.G.O.
There is also an old people’s home known as Little’ Sisters of the poor.
Busy Hamrun!!! • These two pictures show the main road of Hamrun and how busy it is. • It shows also how much cars pass from Hamrun. • This causes a lot of polution.
Busses also pass from Hamrun rather frequently and the service is improving although the problem of pollution is increasing.

Clothes stores… & • Take away restaurants
Also a factory! • In Hamrun we find the Benna milk shop and factory.
The Square…. • This is St. Paul’s Square found in Hamrun • This is the statue of Fra. Diegu
A contrast …. • A very old house --- A very modern house. This shows that different people live in Hamrun
