  1. Grade 4 Immersion program to Chiang Rai23rd March- 28th March 2014 Parents’ Presentation

Overview • The trip lasts five nights and six days; • It is an essential factor of the IB curriculum, and will link in to all our units. • It will provide an invaluable opportunity for children to develop their interpersonal skills and build their confidence and leadership skills in a fun and safe environment.

  3. Objectives • Appreciate a different environment and culture • Collaborate with others • Develop responsibility • Promote independence

  4. Costs • US$1300 • This includes airfare and all trip costs. THAI AIRWAYS INTERNATIONAL wins award for the Best Airline Ground Services at the 2012 World Airline Awards held at Farnborough Air Show

  5. Trip to Chiang Rai We will be staying at Maekok Resort for four nights. http://www.mrvproject.com/index.php/site/mrvoutdooredcentre/ We will also visit: • lookout point set high above the Maekok River valley • upper course of the Mae Ai River • Lahuhilltribe village

  6. Day 1 • When: Sunday 23rd March at 10.30am (flight leaving at 1.05pm) • (This will mean children will need to be at the airport 21/2 hours prior to departure which is 10.30am.) • From:Soekarno-Hatta airport • PM Pick-up from Chiang Rai Airport and transfer to MRVR.

  12. Day 6 • Depart for Chiang Rai airport on Thursday 22nd March at 2.05pm , arrive in Bangok at 3.25pm and transfer to Covenient Resort, a nearby airport hotel. • Leave Bangkok on Friday 23rd March at 8.20am. Arrive in Jakarta atSoekarno-Hatta airport at 11.55am.
