Jedná se zejména o termíny z oblasti zeměpisu, dějepisu , politiky a běžného života. Studenti odhadují na základě svých znalostí význam slov. V případě potřeby pracují se slovníkema mapou. V případě potřeby pracují se slovníkem a mapou. Jejich úkolem je zvládnout krátkou prezentaci o Velké Británii. Samostatně studují mapu a různé jiné dostupné informace (Internet, časopisy, knižní publikace).
