Show and Tell • Copy Record ID to clipboard (alt+A) • Copies the Bib, Holding, Item, or Authority record ID number from the title bar of an open window in the Voyager Cataloging Client and places it on the Clipboard. Once on the Clipboard, the ID number can be pasted using the standard Windows "Paste" command.
Show and Tell cont. • Adds 590 Gift note (Alt+p) • This macro adds a line and creates a 590 field. • It then pastes the gift note
Show and Tell cont. • Holdings & Items (ctrl+H) • This macro opens up the holding record; makes changes to the leader line; makes changes to the 008 field; adds 007 for appropriate formats; corrects the location code; copies the 035 field from the bib record and pastes it into the holding record; saves the holding record; creates a new item record; pauses while the operator scans in the barcode; corrects the itype; and opens up the note field.
