  4. Conflict • Man v Nature, because Jeremy don’t like wen people are hunting in front of him he says if they don’t eat them why do they hunt them for.

  5. Summary of Plot • When Jeremy and his friend saw a man hunting in the biggest town field and they went running and push the man out of the location of the bear because they don’t like that people kill the animals in the town field. • `They kick the man out the field.

  6. Theme I couldn’t believe it ,old man cutter a Yankee soldier fighting hand against the rebels. page 66. I couldn’t believe it. yesterday I was doing chores at home and being yelled at by pa like a little boy. Page 82. Every time we advanced another mile or so, we stopped and dug ourselves trenches to lie in for the night. Page 129.

  7. Point of View When Jeremy says to his friend lets go and push out of the way that mean man that is trying to hunt that deer. Its saying that killing animals is not good if you are going to eat it then hunt it if your not going to eat it then don’t hunt it.

  8. Symbolism It affects the story when the man is trying to hunt the bear and when Jeremy finds a little deer in the middle of the street with a broken leg .

  9. Recommendation • It’s a good story to read because it talks about that hunting is not good if your not going to eat the animal.
