Why did the Ministry of Labour Introduced the E-quota Facility? • Gender and designation are in line with business activities • To streamline the work load of MOL and employer • To save time
What are the Conditions? • The company is having less than 50 Employees • The company must have clean track record and free of any violations: • a. No labour cards are expired for more than 2 months • b. WPScompliance • c. No pending labour disputes • or court cases
What are the Conditions? • Labour Computer Card must be active • a. No licenses under the sponsor is expired • b. No pending dispute with competent court • c. Sponsor/ LSA must have an E-signature card • d. Sponsor/ LSA must have a single file at MOL
What are the Required Documents? Copy of valid Trade License (partners list, commercial register if LLC) Passport copy of UAENational Copy of Jincia Passport copy of Expat Partner E-Signature CardCopy Establishment Card from Ministry of Labour (Labour Computer Card) Establishment Card from DNRD (Immigration Card) Valid Tenancy Contract Location map Utility Bills (DEWA/ETISALAT/DU)
Government Fees / ADAM Fees for E-quota • Government Fees – 200 AED • Typing Fees – 65 AED • ADAM FEES- 1,000 AED • PROPOSAL
New Work Permit / Employment Visa • Work Permit or Employment Visa will allow employees to legally work for the employer and become a resident of UAE. • Federal Law No. 8 of 1980 as amended • Federal Law No. 6 of 1973 as amended by Federal Law No. 13 of 1996 • Ministerial Decree No. 360 of 1997
Components (Point of View of Client) • Entry Permit – Allows entry of employee in UAE • Medical – Fit to work • Emirates ID – National Identification System • Residence Visa – 2 years residency permit in UAE • Labour Card – Allows employee to legally work for employer • Labour Contract – Terms and Conditions
What Are The Conditions? • Approved E-quota • In accordance to qualification and situation of applicant • No Lifetime Ban • No 1 year Ban • If on 6 months ban – higher designation and profession • WPS Compliance • Labour Computer Card must be active • E-signature Card is Available
What are the Required Documents? • Passport copy of employee • A. Valid for six months • B. With at least 2 blank pages left • 8 passport size photos in a white background • Attested educational certificate • Original E-signature Card • Original Passport
Government Fees / ADAM Fees for Employment Visa • Government Fees for Category A – 6,685 AED • Government Fees for Category B - 7,585 AED • Government Fees for Category C - 8,085 AED • ADAM FEES – 2,500 AED • PROPOSAL
Labour Categories • Category A – 30% or less of employees are having same nationality • Category B – 31% to 74% of employees are having same nationality • Category C – 75% of employees are having same nationality • www.mol.gove.ae/english
