VCSQI • Projects:PCI initiative-General-guiding principals • Create an unbiased, quality-driven infrastructure to review Percutaneous Coronary Interventions in Virginia using Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence (ACE) as an independent reviewer. • Create a trusted mechanism to review PCI cases to allow participating hospitals/health systems to be made aware of possible quality issues within their respective cath labs.

  12. VCSQI • Projects:PCI initiative-General guiding principals • VCSQI should not be responsible for implementation of corrective action • VCSQI should not be held liable for lack of corrective action by participating hospitals.
