Industrial & Entrepreneurial Engineering • New major in Fall 2008 • How-to-do engineering vs. What-to-do engineering • How-to-do has been getting outsourced (automation, repetitive tasks) • What-to-do focuses on innovation and front-end skills. • KCC Joint Admissions Program • For Engineering and Technology students only • Students must be admitted to both WMU and KCC • Ensures course articulation and seamless transfer to WMU CEAS • CAPE – The Center for Advanced Printed Electronics • Run through our Paper, Chemical, and Imaging Department • Focuses on printing electronics such as RFID tags, integrated circuits, and solar cells
