We will use the CAFE menu like this… When we have a whole group mini-lesson about a CAFÉ strategy, we will add it to our big class menu Together we will choose a strategy for each of you to begin with. Your strategy will be listed on a Post-it on our big class menu to help you remember When I conference with you, I will be checking to see how your practice with that strategy is going When you have mastered the strategy, we mark it on your individual calendar, and we move on to a new strategy that is right for you. Introducing…the Pensive!
