  2. SWEET HOME HOME SWEET HOMEis what we often say. You know that building a house is both an art and a science. The need for a good and safe house made our ancestors move from the caves, where early man lived. He learnt to use all the natural things available to build a safe shelter for himself and his family.

  3. FEATURES OF IDEAL HOUSE features of an ideal house Ventilation Sunlight Santitation

  4. VENTILATION We need to have plenty of fresh air in the house and rooms where we live. So, the house must have enough windows and doors to let the fresh air in and stale air out. This free flow of fresh air, in and out of the house is called VENTILATION. Green plants planted around the house and kept in pots inside the house also help making the air clean and fresh.

  5. SUNLIGHT Plenty of windows and an open courtyard make sure that plenty of sunlight comes into the house. SUNLIGHT makes the house bright. It also kills the germs and thus disinfects the house.

  6. SANITATION CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS. It is very necessary to keep ourselves and our houses clean. Drainage and disposal of sewage waste water from the kitchen and toilets is called SANITATION .
