  4. Jupiter Ionizers Cont. All Jupiter Ionizers have ONLY 5 electrode plates for ionization None of their machines have over 105 Watts of power All Jupiter machines use an old-fashioned transformer power system. Not the more advanced SMPS version of a transformer. With only 5 electrodes for ionization and no more than 105 Watts of power this leaves Jupiter machines very underpowered. The result is an inability to reach high alkaline pH levels.
  5. What Jupiter Claims DARC Cleaning Jupiter Claims: An advanced cleaning function to prevent calcium build up on the plates. Reality: The machine is simply running an acid water cleaning cycle same as the LIFE machine. Biostone Filters Jupiter Claims: An advanced filter. 9 stage filtration process accomplished by 2 internal filters. Reality: Fancy marketing term for their filters. LIFE 9 stage filtration out-performs and has Vitamin C technology. Also remember the custom pre-filters offered only by LIFE. Fact: Jupiter machines are only able to reach pH levels over a 10.0 by adding a calcium enhancement solution through an external port. LIFE machines are able to reach ph levels up to an 11.5 without any added solution.

KYK vs. LIFE Ionizers KYK Genesis $1,695 - 7 electrode slotted plates - 150 watts max - Warranty: 5 years parts and labor - Filter Cost: $140 per set - Non UL Approved LIFE 7600 $1,997 - 7 electrode Flat/MESH plates - Adjustable up to 208 Watts - Warranty: LIFEtime on all parts and 5 years on all Labor - Filter Cost: $79.99 The KYK Genesis is underpowered and has less effective slotted plates that are not true MESH technology. The dual filters only have 2 layers of different types of carbon. The very high filter cost makes up for the slightly lower initial machine price.

Tyent vs. LIFE Ionizers Tyent 7070 $1,995 / 7070 Turbo $2,495 - 7 electrode slotted plates - 85 Watts (7070) / 280 Watts (7070 turbo) We have tested both machines and have seen no difference in power and performance between the standard 7070 and the turbo - 5 year limited warranty (1 year warranty by Tyent Korea and 4 years by Tyent USA) LIFE 7600 $1,997 - 7 electrode Flat/MESH plates - Adjustable up to 208 watts - LIFEtime warranty on all parts and 5 years on all labor In order to sell against Tyent it is important to bring up the reliability of the company itself. They are a newer company with an unproven product. Their main marketing is done through a phony review site www.ionizersreviewed.com which they own and operate
  11. Kangen (Enagic) Ionizers All Enagic machines are sold through Multi Level Marketing which causes an inflated price tag. With every machine purchased up to 8 people make commission Current U.S. distributor has been in business since 2003 Kangen reps often have to use slander toward other companies in order to justify their high price tag of $3,980.

Kangen (Enagic) vs. LIFE Ionizers Enagic SD501 - Machine costs $3,980 due to MLM structure - 7 electrode flat plates - 230 max watts (non adjustable) - 5 year full coverage warranty - $800 restocking fee after 3 days / $1,200 after 7 days *Pricing is for non-used machines only - Machine technology has not been updated since 2004 - Requires the use of a Calcium Enhancement solution to reach high level pH readings. Also requires a solution to reach low acidic readings around a 2.5 pH - Machine has no option for MESH plates or UV Light Technology for bacteria disinfection in water - Enagic does not offer any type of pre-filtration for areas with hard water or large amounts of contaminants

Common Misinformation Claimed by Enagic Reps Claim: 80% of water ionizers, including Jupiter and Ionways are made by one manufacturer in Korea… Emco Tech, who makes 14 different models for 11 different companies.  The insides of these machines are all virtually the same with different shells. Life Ionizer and Tyent are only “assemblers” of their products. The parts for these two companies are also manufactured in Korea by Emco Tech. Enagic is the only true manufacturer of their ionizer. Truth: LIFE Ionizers is the manufacturer of their product , not just an “assembler”. Saying Emco Tech, the manufactures for Jupiter, is the manufacturer of all ionizers other than Kangen is similar to saying Toyota is the manufacturer of every car made in Japan. Common Misinformation Claimed by Enagic Reps Claim: The Enagic SD501 is an approved Medical Device and is manufactured with medical grade materials (titanium and platinum)… vs. the competitors being a kitchen appliance Truth: Ionizers in general are approved as medical devices in Japan and Korea, not just solely Kangen ionizers. Through extensive research we have still found absolutely no proof that “medical grade” platinum exists at all. LIFE Ionizers are the only ionizers that can be found in the PDR (Physicians Desktop Reference) and the only machine endorsed by The People Against Cancer association.

Common Misinformation Claimed by Enagic Reps Claim: The competition’s warranties cannot compare to Kangen’s 5-Year bumper to bumper warranty… and if they have a five year warranty at all, it is a Limited Warranty. Their warranties are voided if the source water is too hard and if more than a limited amount of water (approx 2-3 gals) is produced out of the machine daily. Truth: LIFE Ionizer 7600 & 8100 models have a LIFEtime warranty on all parts and 5 years full coverage on all labor. The warranty does not have any restrictions on the amount of water that can be used daily. It would be impossible for us to even gauge daily water usage. The warranty is not voided if used with hard water. In fact, we supply hard water pre-filters to help extend the life of machines used in severe hard water areas
  17. Common Misinformation Claimed by Enagic Reps Claim: SMPS power supplies are not as powerful as a standard transformer and can overheat the machine resulting in the ionizer burning up. Truth: SMPS power systems are more advanced versions of the standard transformer. The purpose of the advanced design is so the machine operates more efficiently using a more constant flow of electricity and in turn runs much cooler. All LIFE SMPS powered machines have an automatic shut off feature that will shut the machine down if it were left on for a very long extended time on accident. This will avoid the machine from overheating.
  18. Common Misinformation Claimed by Enagic™ Reps Claim: MESH plates will burn up faster than flat plates. MESH plates are not covered as well by the platinum which could possibly expose harmful titanium. MESH will get scale build up quicker. Truth: Titanium - Melting pt. = 3,000° / Boiling pt. = 5,950° Platinum - Melting pt. = 3,200° / Boiling pt. = 6,917° MESH plates are titanium double dipped with a .25 micron platinum coating. LIFE Ionizer Advanced cleaning function helps to eliminate scaling. MESH plates have no more scaling than flat plates.
