Federal Financial Aid • Grants, Loans, Work Study • Register for PIN at :http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ • Apply as soon after Jan 1st as possible • Must apply to be eligible for scholarships • Financial Aid Night December 1st , 7-8:30 and December 4th,First Congregational Church 2-3:30 • College Goal Sundays, January 5th Sehome, January 19th, B.H.S. and January 29th, S.Q.H.S. • Scholarships • Counseling-Career Center-Scholarship Bulletin • Apply on Line or request paper copy from Connie Kelly • The Washboard Financial Aid

Accuplacer– required by WCC and BTC • Contact our Career Center for a FREE test date, or the school to register • SAT– Scholastic Assessment Test: Critical Reading, Math and Writing • SAT Subject Tests – Specific Achievement Tests • ACT – American College Test: English, Reading, Math, Science and Writing SAT/ACT Sign up for Nov. or Dec Test dates NOW!!! FEE WAIVERS available in the Career Center or see your counselor For SAT or ACT sign up, Go to the links on our website College Entrance Testing

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION Ask 2 or more weeks in advance (Well before thanksgiving and midwinter break!)Public State colleges do NOT want them and will not read them!Provide an Academic Resume and a description from the college or scholarship stating what they are looking for. You may be asked to fill out additional forms.Remember to write a thank you note!
