  3. AFPMB Mission Ensure deployed combat forces have the most effective disease vector control and pest management capabilities to prevent adverse effects on troops, weapons systems, supplies & equipment, and installations, using environmentally sound techniques with maximal risk reduction.

  4. AFPMB Mission Tasks • Develop and recommend policy • Provide scientific guidance • Coordinate exchange of information • Prevent adverse effects of pests and disease on DoD operations • Ensure environmentally sound and effective integrated pest management programs
