  2. Facts • Colors can be red, pink, yellow, purple, and white • Blooms in spring, summer, and fall • It gets darker towards the middle of the flower • All the peddles are connected • The don’t peddles overlap

  4. How to Grow it • Needs full sun • Start them indoors for 10 to 12 weeks before setting them outside • When the plants have 3 leaves put them outside • Space the plants at least 1 foot apart • It is better if the flower has protection from the wind

  5. Pest Control Biological • Introduce parasitic wasp to kill the caterpillar Chemical • Handpick caterpillar or use the non-chemical way. Which is biological. • There isn’t any Safety Concerns or PPE needed because you just use your hand to pick off the caterpillar • You could use gloves if you don’t want to touch the caterpillar with your bare hand
