AGS Polarimeter in the harmonic 8 run The polarimeter WFD’s sampling rate is derived fro the RF signal Number of samplings per bucket is hardcoded in the firmware. • Switching to the H=8 affects polarimeter performance. • With no upgrade of the firmware we can only choose between 2 options: • Regular samling rate 140 MHz and misaligned buckets (in the firmware) • (can be used in single bunch mode only) • 2. Sampling rate 90 MHz and aligned buckets. • (can be used with slow (charge-sensitive) preamplifier. First results for the option 2 are good, but high intensity, 2-bunch runs were not tried yet.
