  2. July 4th TODAY How do you celebrate Independence Day on July 4th? Look at the photographs on the next few slides. What do you notice?

  3. July 4th in the PAST On the next few slides are photographs from the past. These photographs are from the Library of Congress. What do you notice about them? How are they different from the way people celebrate July 4th today? How are they the same?
