Current Status … • All 423 Sub registrar offices in the state of Maharashtra functional. • More than one million documents registered statewide annually. • Revenue collection for current year is 4000 crore . • Process fee Rs.20 per page charged from the party & approx Rs.12/- per page paid to BOT agency • Payments of 45 crores made to BOT vendors • Around 35 crore surplus with the department for upgradation and further computerisation
Maximum rate of stamp duty is reduced to 5 % Reduction & Rationalisation of Stamp duty for Capital and Commodity market transactions. Payment of stamp duty by way of consolidation by insurance companies.
