Guidance for NCCU members in response to the occurrence of flu Faculty staff, employees or students exhibit symptoms of flu: (Self-health management: Measure the body temperature every day. Report to the school when having symptoms) Symptoms: fever、cough、headache、muscle pains、exhausted、running nose andsore throat REPORT
Report procedures Working Hours (8 am-5 pm, Mon-Fri.) May go to the clinics in the neighborhood first (eg. Tzu-Yu Clinic). If there are H1N1-like symptoms, patients should be transferred to Wan Fang Hospital.(萬芳醫院) 1.Contact department office →Assist patient to go see a doctor 2.Report to NCCU Campus Security Report Center (ext.66119) → Inform the parents. → Report to MOE Campus Security Report Center. 3.Report to the Health Service Section (ext.77425) → Report to WenShan Health Service Center. Notice: 1.Immediate reports. 2.For patients and those who assist or contact the patients: →wear a mask →throw used masks properly →avoid unnecessary talking →wash hands frequently
Report procedures Non-Working Hours (weekdays after 5 pm; weekends/holidays) Dorm guidance counselor accompany patients to WanFang Hospital for medical treatments and report to Campus Security Report Center (ext.66119). On-campus dorm residents: Inform the dorm guidance counselor to assistant to seek assistance. Off-campus residents: Report to the Campus Security Report Centerto seek assistance. Inform the parents. Report to MOE Campus Security Report Center. Report to WenShan Health Service Center. Report to Taipei Sanitation Bureau. Report to Campus Security Report Center (ext.66119).
General procedures for patients going to hospitals Non-H1N1 Medical treatment Diagnosis of the doctor WanFan Hospital Fast screening for viruses Possible Novel Influenza A/H1N1 cases Positive Negative Back to normal life 24 hoursafter the symptoms relieve. Severe cases (with complications such as pneumonia, myocarditis, or other serious conditions) Common cases Hospitalization required. 5 days worth of Tamiflu. 5-day self-health management at home.
The school will continue to be attentive to the patients discharged from hospitals 1. 5-day home quarantine required. 2. Report the body temperature to the Health Service Section twice a day. Off-campus residents 1. 5-day quarantine on the 4th floor of the Health Center Building required. 2. Report the body temperature to the Health Service Section twice a day. On-campus dorm residents 1. Report the body temperature to the Health Service Section once a day. 2. If symptoms of flu exhibit, inform the Health Service Section and go see a doctor. People who assist / contact the patients
