Topic Selection • Advanced/Current architectural issues in multi-core systems • Transactional Memory • Caching architecture • Thermal/Power Management • Dynamic Scheduling • Cell processors • Can be related to project of IMPACT lab • Thermal management in DATA Centers (http://impact.asu.edu/~mcn/DataCenter.htm) • Body Area Networks • Should involve some implementation/simulation/performance benchmarking
