  2. Many of the churches in France have beautiful stained glass windows of all shapes and sizes. Pieces of colored glass are joined together with lead to form a picture or design. In addition to windows, stained glass is used for lampshades, Christmas ornaments, and signs.

  4. Some of the most famous and beautiful stained glass windows in France are the round “rose windows”. They are called rose windows because they look like a flower.

  5. At Tuesday’s meeting we will make our own rose windows using black paper and colored tissue paper.
