  6. ARRAY PHOTOMETER AEP / AP INTERFACE Command/Data Interface NOTES: 1.Nominal CDI_CLK frequency is 2MHz. 2.MSbit first. LSbit last. 3.Sender changes CDI_DAT data on falling edge of CDI_CLK. 4.Receiver latches CDI_DAT on next rising edge of CDI_CLK. 5.An independent set of three (four) lines (CDI_CLK.CDI_DAT. (or CDI_DATC and CDI_DATR). CDI_STB) runs from DPU to eachsubsystem. 6. RS-422 signal levels are used between DPU and subsystemsexternal to the AEP. 7.DPU drives all RS-422 + signals low (- signals high) except during use. 8.DPU floats RS-422 signals when subsystem is powered off. 9. During data portion of readback cycle, DPU floats TTL CDI_DAT and subsystem drives TTL CDI_DAT. 10. Receiver can use CDI_STB to initialize receive logic for next command. 11. After reset DPU will send dummy CDI command to initialize receivers.
