  4. Lets Have a Number Talk! Steps to a Number Talk: • Write the problem horizontally • Have them think quietly to themselves • As for a thumbs up when they have an solution. Hold up extra fingers for additional solutions • Ask students for answers and write on board • Have students defend their answers
