Movies and TV Shows • Most teen movies contain gratuitous violence of some form • Glamorize guns and other weapons • Make violence seem commonplace
Impact? • Students become desensitized to violence • View violence as a means to resolve conflicts • Lose respect for property and human life • See violent behavior as something to be emulated
