  2. Fuel Efficiency It is the capability to transform energy into motion, i.e. moving a car or a truck from location A to B with minimum waste of energy. Fuel Efficiency also includes: Efficiency in transforming raw sources of energy in fuel that can be used by an engine Efficiency of the engine using the fuel Efficiency of the person using the engine for the right purpose, without unnecessary waste

  3. Engine efficiency Today’s engines are not very efficient. They have several limits that diminish efficiency • Power Dispersion • Friction • Inertia

  4. In the end only 20% of the petrol is used to move the car

  5. Recycling cars In the U.S., cars are the most recycled product. Believe it or not cars in junkyards are recycled: the engine might not work but the air conditioning does so they recycle it.
