Purpose The prime purpose of the database is to provide a tool to assist in the study of past accidents in order to contribute towards the goal of continuous improvement in aircraft safety

DatabaseContent • Passenger & Cargo operations on aircraft Type Certificated with more than 19 seats • Version 24 of the Database contains: • 2,894 Accidents - period 1967 to 2002 • 841 with textual fields • 386 with textual data from accident reports
