Review the templating process • Take one of your own existing essays. • Copy and paste a page of that essay into the Text-Template • Format all the paragraphs • Insert at least three footnote markers • Write three footnotes in a blank MSWord document, if the page you took from your essay has no notes attached to it
Review the templating process • Cut and paste those notes, one at a time, into the Notes_Template • Format so that the note marker in the Text_Template opens the correct note in the Notes_Template • Rename the Text_Template.htm file with your first name: mine for example would be Richard.htm • Rename the Notes_Template.htm file with your family name: mine would be Cunningham.htm
Review the templating process • Open the Paper_Template.htm file using Notepad • Where you see • <frameset rows=80%,20%> • <frame src="Text_Template.htm" name=Place Your Title Here> • <frame src="Notes_Template.htm" name=footnotes> • </frameset> • Replace <frame src="Text_Template.htm" name= Place Your Title Here> • With • <frame src="Richard.htm" name=Milton’s Orphic Song>
