OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Systems Engineering • We have a specialized team of engineers and designers that are tasked with utilizing the extensive 3D modeling capabilities of CATIA in Wiring Installation • Optimum routing and placement of wiring and work with avionics mechanical to adjust any equipment locations that will optimize wiring. • They integrate systems into the aircraft such as lighting, telephone, video/audio, cabin integration, and galley accessories (i.e., ovens, coffeemakers, etc.).
OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Systems Engineering • Engineers Assist for the installation of all the mechanical parts inside the aircraft, such as the brackets that pertain to avionics equipment and wire, bundles, and connectors that are part of wire installation. • Exposure for cabin temperature controls and waste water systems. They also assist in Air and plumbing to supply to the cabinets was tapped from basic aircraft air and water systems
OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Design Engineering • We have a specialized team of engineers and designers that are tasked with 2D & 3D modeling capabilities of CATIA V4 & V5, creation of CNC programming • Create 2D drawings as per customer specification with reference to aircraft canter line drawings. • Experience engineers working on PDM or VPM systems • Make best usage of materials, weight and space which are producible, repeatable, certifiable and maintainable. • Utilize the most cost effective methods in selection including standardization or using pre-existing designs and parts where possible.
OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Design Engineering • Assist procurement of material which are suitable for the design they have specified. • Strength, standard and application Information on installation components.. • General information metal joining, measurement systems, control systems, finishing and marking • Designing components according to standards and allowable, assist in manufacturing, installation and inspection team. Create part list (BOM) • Assist in testing components and assemblies
OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Design Engineering information on Materials [Alloys, non metallic (plastics, thermoplastics, composites, leather, fork, felt, adhesive tapes, foams, elastomers, etc,)] and installation (Hinges, brackets, latches, screws, fasteners (blind, fluid tight, etc.), bolts, nuts, pins, screws, rivets, bearings, splines & keys, gears, seals, springs and miscellaneous) commonly used in interiors composites: for panels available in different thickness Ply Fiberglass skin / aluminum core Ply Fiberglass skin / aluminum core Carbon skin / aluminum core aluminum skin / aluminum core Acoustic panel paper skin/paper core/rubber layer
OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Design Engineering • Valance panels extend the full length of the main cabin on the left and right sides and are installed between the headliner and window panels. These panels incorporate passenger service units (PSU) panels plus upper and lower utility shrouds often housing up/downwash lighting. Thermoplastic resin reinforced laminates used in Manufacturing applications such as valance panels luggage bins, flooring and galley carts, cans, etc.
OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Design Engineering Seats are purchased from different vendors based on the aesthetic the customer is requesting. Aircraft seats are very rigorously tested to gain approval an impact analysis criteria is established Engineering placement and securing of seats on the aircraft and instruction of how the passenger position in the seat while taxi, takeoff and landings are taken care Document specification of the seating is provided by the vendor Thermoplastic resin reinforced laminates, leather, foam and alloys used in assembly
Hardware and mounts Design Engineering Installation are purchased from different vendors based on the strength, application and standards and specification details Metallic alloys (aluminum, steel, titanium, etc.) also non metallic like (rubber, sealants, etc) used in products seals Bearing screws hinges brackets Nuts, bolts & pins Iso mounts
OUR WORK EXPERIENCE Weight Engineering • Enables in calculation of the entire weight which goes in Aircraft. • Work involves calculation of structural, non structural and miscellaneous weights • Calculation of weight are linked to CATIA V5 also using Visual basic in excel for formulation of weight for different structures as individually. • Conversant with all measuring systems for temperature, pressure and position measurement. Stress Engineering • Strength checking of the structural substation for certification. • Well versed with modeling procedures and analytical procedures for interiors • Experts in commercial tools and implementing design process for interiors
Scope Static strength analysis substantiation of the Galley and Aft lavatory structure for acceleration loads using FEM methods inputs • CATIA V5 Model • Material properties • Equipment weights • Allowable for soft mount, rivets and nuts Approach Deliverables
2D quadrangle element used to model composite panels in PATRAN & HYPERMESH • Calculation of Entire mass of the structure • M Galley = M miscellaneous + M panels • Note :The mass of miscellaneous includes mass of inserts, potting, brackets, and screws as well as mass of laminate, and veneer. • Equipment weights were modeled as concentrated mass • Static analysis done in NASTRAN 9G X-load, 7G Z-load and 3G Y-load. • Analytical substantiation for soft mounts, screws, brackets and bolts. Deliverables • Stress report for static strength of the structure with attachment reactions during the forward/aft, sideward and downward/upward load case as per certification standards.
