Completing a Course Application: General Info Course Application Tab: Information entered in Items 1 – 17 will be displayed on the course catalog. Note -* Red AsterikareRequired items URL: Enter http:// before website URL
Online Course Application Online Course: Expiration Date - up to 3 years from the Application Date/ renewable. Date/Time/Location – Not Applicable
Completing a Course Application: General Info Contact Information entered will display on course catalog. Credit types available on course application are dependent on the type of Providership(s) each office has.
Completing a Course Application: General Info Course Description and Additional information have a 500 character limit. – Enter Agenda, Registration, Website links, Parking and Directions under Agenda/Additional Information
Completing a Course Application: General Info Maximum Enrollment Feature – will ONLY appear when Accepting Registrations is selected MRC Checklist – will only appear for MRC Course Sponsors
Waitlist Feature: • This feature is only available when NJLMN accepts the registration • A waiting list will be activated after the max enrollment is reached • Registrants attempting to register will receive a message that the course is full and have the option to be added to the waiting list • Registrants must be moved to the roster and must be notified that they are now registered by the course sponsor
Completing a Course Appl: Dates/Times/Locations • Multi-Day offering vs Multi-Offering: • A multi-day course can have up to 5 dates in ONE offering. • A multi-offering course can have up to TEN offerings per application.
Submitting a Course Application: Current Status: After completing the course, change the status to Save, Send to Catalog Administrator or Cancel. Click SUBMIT

Course Functions: Current Sponsored Offerings • Once a course is posted to the catalog, the course sponsor can view the roster, view the waitlist, update the course offering, add attendance or email registrants.
Course Functions: Update Offering • Update Location, Registration Status, Offering Date, Offering Time, Note Text and Maximum Enrollment amount (if Accepting Registrations is selected) • Registration Status can be updated to Closed, Cancelled or Archived, Outside Registration or Save the Date
Submitting Course Attendance:Registering Attendees • When Accepting Registration is selected, the NJLMN will create the roster for your course. • When Outside Registration is selected, the registration and attendance will be created by the course sponsor.
Submitting Attendance: Course Roster • Check the box next to the email address to mark attendance • Click the Submit Attendance button to confirm attendance & update transcripts • Submitting attendance can be done multiple times without affecting transcript
Important Timeframes: • When to submit course apps – 30 days before course date • From course submission to posting – allow 5 working days • Updating attendance – Within 10 working days after course date • When licensees (HO/REHS) renew – October 1 to December 1 each year. (15 Public Health credits required to renew a license)
Seven Important Tips to Remember: • Fill out all required fields on course application • SAVE EACH SECTION – General Info, Dates/Times/Locations • Review course application BEFORE submitting • Send course application to NJLMN Catalog Admin for posting • Changes to Primary Admin must be sent by mail to Angela Derry McKithen at NJDOH (Providership Agreement) • Secondary Admin changes can be emailed to Catalog Administrator – Susan Girgis • Online/web based courses should be taken from reputable national/known sources. Beware of marketing campaigns!
