  2. Reverence God in Worship Christians must serve God acceptably. - Heb. 12:28-29 God is truly holy and awesome. - Psm. 111:7-9

  3. Reverence God in Worship Remember who God is. - No one has seen God. - Imagine being in His presence. - God on the mountain. Ex. 19:3-19 - Ezekiel before God. (Ez. 1:28) - Throne scene. (Rev. 4:10)

  4. Reverence God in Worship Remember why God is worthy. - To worship God is to show devotion or reverence. - We owe our very existence to Him. - Psm. 29:2; 95:6-7

  5. Reverence God in Worship We need to check our attitude. - Our Heart – Mt. 15:8 - Humility – Lk. 18:9-14 - Respect – Isa. 66:1-2; (Neh. 8:5-6) What does our conduct in worship say? - Does God accept our worship?
