This reminder provides important information on data selection criteria, electron identification, and improvements for HBD Run 9 data analysis. Includes details on vertex cuts, DC quality cuts, matching cuts, RICH and EMC criteria. Changes in equilibration and its impact on clusters efficiency are highlighted.

Data selection and electron ID:quick reminder • CNT files, 18 runs • Vertex cut: +/- 20 cm. • 142.6M MB events before vertex cut, 88.4M events after +/- 20 cm cut. • DC quality cut: 31 or 63. • 3s matching cuts on DF and DZ to EMC. • RICH: n0>0 • EMC: 0.6 < E/p < 1.0 for PbGl 0.2 < E/p < 0.6 for PbSc • Todd produced one run with new libraries ana.129, the suspicion is that E. Kistenev made some changes. I. Ravinovich
Pad to pad equilibration: two extremes from DB have shown below. The average RMS/Mean over all 19 modules w/o equilibration is 14.7%, w/ from DB is 13.7%, a new equilibration gives 4.5%. I. Ravinovich
Resolved single clusters w/ equilibration from DB and w/ a new one. Note that it is strongly affected the efficiency by almost a factor of 2. I. Ravinovich
Unresolved double clusters w/ equilibration from DB and w/ a new one. The efficiency have been increased by ~50%. I. Ravinovich
