  3. Setting off They all set off through the cold dark atmosphere of the surrounding blue planet Earth. They all moaned at how long the journey would be. How long left Jamie? - I miss Earth! Not long Kerry, only 8 months and 1100 hours left!

  4. Leaving Earth • All the crew were beginning to get excited about leaving Earth, and approaching a new and different world. • They all took a glance out the window. Larry shouted….. • “I want some crisps!” • “No!” screamed Charlie, “You can’t because it will just float around because of the gravity in space!” • Be careful with the food, as we haven’t got much left you greedy pig! Noooooo…! I’m coming!!

  5. Nearly There “Look out of the window!” screeched Craig. “What?” replied Kerry. “There are two moons Phobos and Deimos. “Remember to make sure that your suits are secure, because it is going to be very cold! It can go down to -117° but we will be nice and warm!” Phobos Deimos

  6. Exploring Mars Come on! Let’s look around! It can’t be- you must be seeing things! Woo! Is that an alien?

  7. Exploring Cool!! Look, red dust! It’s quiet around here. Where's Larry ? HELP!!

  8. Moving on…. “Help, Help me!” demanded Larry. “What’s wrong?” questioned Kerry. “He’s not breathing!” yelled Jamie. “He’s DEAD!” roared everyone. Craig looked around at Larry. Look there’s a rip in his space suit. “Oh that’s how he died!” “They all looked around in disappointment” “Come on, we need to take the body away. Let’s get heading back home!” said Cherry. “The engine isn’t working!” “Nooo!” “What are we going to do? We have no food, Larry’s dead and the engine isn’t working!!

  9. Leaving for home Calling Houston- in 10.9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2.1.0 take off. Now, the long, sad journey home……
