Day 1 • Anchorage, Alaska (United States) • Arrive at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport • Take shuttle to Anchorage Marriott Downtown and check in • The remainder of the day one is free to roam around • For dinner take a coach to Bridge Seafood, a unique restaurant that spans the waters of an urban salmon stream
Day 2 • Fuel up on breakfast at the hotel before heading out to the scenic trail of Cook Inlet. • Bike along the coastline and enjoy the view of the Chugach Mountains. • Bald Eagle Presentation:meet a bald eagle up close while a handler tells you about the habits of the bird. • Lunch at the Alaska Native Heritage Center • Celebrate the heritage of Native Alaskan cultures and learn about the ancient traditions of the people of Alaska • After the heritage center enjoy a scavenger hunt • Explore the city of Anchorage on your own • Have dinner in Anchorage
Day 3 • Arrive at Denali National Park and explore own your own • Have lunch at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, enjoy the outdoor deck with the view of Mt. McKinley • Ride a jet boat along the glaciers of SusintaRiver and make your way to the wilderness • Enjoy a hike to the next hotel, the Grande Denali Lodge • Have dinner at the Alehouse for some pizza dinner and check out the collection of antique Alaskan photosand artifacts
Day 4 • Denali National Park, Alaska • Enjoy whitewater rafting on the NenanaRevel and drift pass Mt. Fellows and Pyramid Mountain. Also encounter a natural rock that resembles a dog sled team in Alaska • Have a private Lunch at the Murie Science & Learning Center • After lunch take some time to see Denali National Park on your own
Day 5 • Depart Denali and head for Girdwood • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before boarding the coach for your trip to Big Lake • Stop at Happy Trails kennels owned by award-winning dog musher, Martin Buser. Adults watch an exciting sledding demonstration as Junior Adventurers join the Adventure Guides to meet the season's litter of eager puppies. • Have lunch and then head back to Happy Trails • Enjoy the ride to Hotel Alyeska in the historic mining town of Girdwood. • Have dinner at the Seven Glaciers Restaurant as the glaciers surround the restaurant • After dinner enjoy Junior Adventurer Activity Night: one will learn to spin an Eskimo yo-yo or play soccer
Day 6 • After breakfast cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park. • If lucky one will catch popular wildlife throughout the park, including sea lions, sea otters, porpoises, puffins and a variety of whales. • Enjoy Lunch during the cruise • Arrive at the Alaska Sea Life Center Visit • "Underwater" Dinner: one-of-a-kind meal in the underwater-viewing area. Watch puffins, seals and sea lions dance through the arctic water while you fashion your own puffin out of clay to take home
Day 7 • Ride the coach to gold country for a demonstration of prospecting at the Crow Creek Mine. Pan for metal and keep the gold as a souvenir • Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center Visit • Explore on your own in Girdwood and enjoy lunch and dinner in the town • Take strolls down the city • End the Alyeska Resort with dinner and a performance of traditional dancers and drummers
