Background (20 years in the making) Volunteer-based non profit organization in North America Founded in 1991, at the encouragement of the Office of Science and Technology Counselor (OSTC), Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, DC Followed by the First Reversed Brain Drain (RBD) Conference in Thailand ATPAC was registered with the State of Texas in 1992 Board of Directors & Management Team Funding supports received from CHE, OSTC/MOST & RBD/NSTDA and paid Members Involved in Highly Impacted Projects
Objectives To promote the advancement of scientific knowledge, technology, business and education in Thailand To establish a liaison and promote cooperation between ATPAC and related organizations in Thailand, the United States, Canada and other countries To maintain a close association and fraternity among members
