  2. Clc _ Lec • Cairo is at the same time a third world and first world city. It is an Islamic and Pharaonic world, a teeming city that shakes all the senses simultaneously.

  3. Clc _ Lec What to wear? light clothes, preferably cotton. Bring a sweater for the night. It is essential to wear comfortable shoes that allow walking on uneven ground and with lots of sand. Avoid sandals, even if it seems a very cool shoe option.

  4. Clc _ Lec Customs: Egypt is a Muslim country where it is convenient to observe some social conventions and customs related to religion. When entering mosques you should always take your shoes off, women can‘t come in shorts or short skirts and bare shoulders (there are cloaks that ladies can use).

On the other side of the Nilo, there is the “city of the dead”, were you can visit the famous necropolis of the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and Valley of the Nobles.
