  1. Graphics First visual connection with the meaning of the play. A representation of Mrs. Wright own prison. Symbolically representing the bird, it also represents the repression and resentment Mrs. Wright felt toward her own life. By Jaime Rodriguez

  2. Graphics This graphic also represents Mrs. Wright herself. Even though we never see her during the play; we learn enough about who she was and what she had become to compare her to a beautiful flower that banished –died long before she killed her husband. By Jaime Rodriguez

  3. Graphics This rope represents social norms being challenged by females. At the time this play took place; drastic changes were about to occur. At the beginning there was clearly only one side to the story; at the end, it was proved otherwise. By Jaime Rodriguez

  4. Songs In this song the main character takes responsibility for his current situation. If Mrs. Wright was able to kill out of frustration; she could have been able to leave Mr. Wright when she was younger. She accepted –fairly or unfairly the prison that represented being married to Mr. Wright.   5. Songs Trapped I think this songs not only speaks of Mrs. Wright’s unhappiness but also the sense of inconformity you get from the other two females in the play.   10. Dan AykroydMr. Hale I would select him to play Mr. Hale. I think he would do great at communicating the insecurities that this character provides in the play. At first he is ready to help get the crime solved but some where in the middle he losses his confidence on what he thinks happened. By Jaime Rodriguez

  11. She would be a perfect Mrs. Hale. She is older and has proven with his previous work that she can persuade her male counterpart without losing their respect and trust. I think she would do great at influencing Mrs. Peters. Jessica Tandy Mrs. Hale By Jaime Rodriguez

  12. Matt DamonSheriff This actor has proven himself in a variety of roles. I think he could very well play the young Sheriff –anxious to solve a crime but unsure of all the things to be covered. He would be a good fit because of his age and his capacity to switch from being in total confusion to appearing to be in control. By Jaime Rodriguez

  13. Julia StylesMrs. Peters I think Julia could fit the role of the submissive wife; Mrs. Peters. She would also bring that intellectual, “I can do” attitude that just comes with her presence, something Mrs. Hale is able to see. By Jaime Rodriguez

  14. Danny DeVitoCounty Attorney This actor’s mere presence annoys many; something that seems to be part of being the County Attorney. Mr. Henderson’s constant remarks about females and their roles makes this actor a perfect fit. By Jaime Rodriguez
