Convention on the Rights of the Child • commonly abbreviated as the CRC, CROC, or UNCRC; • a human rights treaty settingout the civil, political, economic, social, health and cultural rights of children; • came into force on 2 September 1990; • 194 countries are party to it.
Project title „All different, all the same: developing cultural understanding througha shared exploration of children's rights.”
Project objectives • „All different, all the same: developing cultural understanding througha shared exploration of children's rights.” • To promote young people's active citizenship and social cohesion by fostering mutual understanding between the project partners from across Europe. • To make students aware of their civil, political, economic, social, health and cultural rights.
Project objectives • „All different, all the same: developing cultural understandingthrough a shared exploration of children's rights.” • To engage young people in multi-modal creative activities and critical thinking skills centred around an exchange of culture. • To foster an entrepreneurial spirit and an awareness of future employment opportunities among children regardless of their socio-economic background.
Article 29 Education should develop each child'spersonality and talents to the full.
Article 31 States Parties shall respect and promote the right of the child to participate fully in cultural and artistic life and shall encourage the provision of appropriate and equal opportunities for cultural, artistic, recreational and leisure activity.
