Tuesday • Parallel sessions start 8h30 • Lunch: box (ticket) • Speakers: upload talk in indicothe day before! • Talks are “pushed” to local directories of room computers • Escalette for help (Dirk Hoffmann and his team) • Agenda of parallel sessions will be printed in the evening and distributed on paper in the beginning of the day
Wednesday • 12h30 Lunch: box • Conference Photo: • Wednesday 13h45 (in front of Palais des Congrès) • Dinner de Gala (= “conference dinner”) Pharo-Espace Vieux-Port • Walk by yourself, extraordinary view on Marseille, sea, island, harbor etc. + outside sculpture exhibition at Pharo • NEW! : Busses to Jardin du Pharo • Via “Corniche” (sea sight) • Start 17h45 (will wait for longer sessions) • Guided visits will be possible starting ~19h00 • 19h30-20h30 Cocktail • 20h30 Dinner • Busses to hotels at the end of the dinner
Thursday • 8h30-12h30 • Lunch box • Excursions: • Cassis (full) bus from here • City Centre: meet at Office du Tourisme 14h00 (Vieux Port) • If you have no idea yet (but good shoes): • Cultural: Go to Vieux-Port • Walk around Vieux-Port on the right side, round the corner to the new buildings Mucem and Maison de la Mediterranée (old/new architecture), and in “Panier” quarters (VieilleCharité) • Or: Take the “Navette” to Pointe Rouge or Estaque (there may be queue) 3 euro • Or: Go to Notre Dame de la Garde (“la bonne mère” of Marseille people) • Nature: Bus 21 to Luminy(terminus) then 30 min walk to callanqueSormiou (flat), monumental view to the Mediteranean Sea
Friday • Plenary session starts 9h00 • Morning WG 1-6 “Highlights+Discussion” • Afternoon session : Future experiment, HEP in Europe and Overview talk then Closing • End of conference 16h30 • 18h00: Public Lecture Rolf Heuer • Followed by a cocktail • Register if you are interested (on the web)
