  1. PHOTOGRAPHY IS EVIDENCE The art, craft, and science of producing permanent images of objects on light-sensitive surfaces.

  2. Permanent Permanence is the quality of lasting into the distant future. Something is permanent when it is fully expected to last many generations.

  3. Other art forms make reference to reality but are fabrications. While photographs can be fabricated, they have historically been used as documentation. A representation or record of reality, a true story… evidence.

  11. PHOTOGRAPHY AS EVIDENCE • Use photography to show evidence of people. • Make images with meaning about the cause of the images. • Work within any theme based on the concept of evidence. Examples:  Evidence that people do or do not care. Tracks. Shadows without objects. Make a list of ideas and themes for yourself and select the one you like.
