Projector Set-up • Laptop or desktop computer and cable • Projector, powercord, and cart • Cart placement and safety issues • Audio cable • Computer, then projector power up • Cool-down of projector
Looking over your shoulder… • Introduce new applications to the whole class • Demonstrate process with class (writing, database, spreadsheet, presentation tools) • Present lessons (like this) or student projects

Formats for Students • Choose the sites you want students to use. • Make a page in a composer (Navigator or Internet Explorer), a document that allows hyperlinks (Appleworks or PowerPoint), or other software (Kidspiration). • Link sites to labels on page with instructions of how you want students to use them (e.g. biography activity).
